Linde Medical Writing is operated by Michael Linde, MS. Michael has been working in the HIV field since 1998 as a writer and researcher. He previously acted as the primary writer for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Prevention Information Network daily electronic “HIV/TB/STD News Update”. Michael has also worked in the medical education field, writing both continuing medical education (CME) and non-CME content for major pharmaceutical companies and new media medical companies. Michael has worked as an independent medical writer focusing in HIV/AIDS and immunology since 2002 and is available on a freelance basis.
Michael has also spent six years as an academic researcher. He received a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California in 2003 for his work on RNA binding protein kinetics, conducted in the laboratory of Dr. Ite Laird-Offringa. He has also completed four years of doctoral candidacy at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Graduate Program in Immunology, studying HIV entry, trafficking, and budding in the laboratory of Dr. James Hildreth. Recently, Michael turned his focus back to medical writing as a full-time independent writer.
